MISSION DRIVEN

A Unified Voice for Minnesota Students

The Minnesota Scholastic Governance Forum builds a professional framework for student governments to collaborate, advocate, and lead with success.

Our platform connects student organizations across the state through shared resources, leadership networking, and an annual leadership conference. We work to empower student leaders to unify their voices and develop advocacy skills for community impact.

Leadership Roles in MSGF

MSGF offers distinct pathways for engagement, ensuring students and advisors have the framework needed to collaborate effectively and drive change at both local and state levels.

President

The President of MSGF provides leadership for the forum, representing Minnesota students at partner meetings and events. They oversee the executive board, lead meetings, and work to keep member schools connected and informed so the forum can advocate with a strong, unified voice.

Co-President

The Co-President works alongside the President to lead MSGF and support the forum’s overall vision. They help coordinate initiatives, assist in running meetings, and collaborate with the executive board to ensure the organization operates effectively and stays aligned with its goals.

Vice-President

The Vice President supports the leadership of MSGF by helping manage projects and initiatives across the organization. They assist with planning meetings and events and step in to lead when the President or Co-President is unavailable.

Treasurer

The Treasurer manages MSGF’s finances and ensures the organization uses its resources responsibly. They track budgets, oversee expenses, and provide financial updates so the executive board can make informed decisions.

Secretary

The Secretary keeps the organization organized and informed by documenting meetings and maintaining important records. They record minutes, track decisions and action items, and help ensure clear communication within the executive board and member schools.

Communications Manager

The Communications Manager oversees MSGF’s messaging and outreach. They manage social media, newsletters, and announcements to keep member schools informed and to share the forum’s initiatives and impact with the broader community.

Meet Our Leadership

The MSGF is guided by a dedicated team of student leaders and advisors committed to improving scholastic governance and fostering collaboration across all Minnesota students councils. These engaged individuals will lead the organization until the 2027-2028 school year.
